I haven't owned a bike in thirty-five years and got hooked after borrowing my friend's bike for some exercise. Main Street Bikes are right across the street so I just dropped in to check out their stock, not intending really to purchase anything...The staff was really friendly and patiently answered all my questions..They didn't try to sell me the most expensive product in the store, just one that would fit my needs... After test riding one, I left with a bike that day...Really happy with my Giant Roam 3...The advancements in technology are a far cry from the one-speed Huffy I had years ago! And their convenient location is another plus...Friendly staff and great service. What more could one ask?Highly recommend this place for all your bike needs...
Very uncomfortable shopping here as a certain sales associate aggressively hits on my husband every time we shop here. This last time was in front of our daughter. Flirting is one thing, this was just disrespectful. Won't be going there anymore.
If you think this bike shop is good but wish there is one even better, drive 10.5 miles south. There you won't have to deal with the natives of Lake Orion, Inbred and breast fed well into their teens.
Excellent service! I bought a mtb from Main St Bicycles almost a year ago and it developed a manufacture defect. I brought it to Main St and they promptly got on the phone with the manufacture and submitted the warranty claim same day. Within a few days, the new frame was in, Main St rebuilt my bike and I was back on the trail with minimal downtime. Thanks for a super quick turn especially during the peak of their busy season!
The Lake Orion staff is always super helpful. They are interested in making sure you get the right bike for your needs and walk out with a setup you will enjoy. They do not try to make the easy sale or push more expensive models. You can tell by talking to them that the whole staff has a passion for biking and are very knowledgeable. With a couple of short discussions they were able to fit me to the perfect bike!
